Overview:

A fantastic opportunity to join the RI Cruden Service team, working within commercial and domestic locations across the North of Scotland, undertaking a diverse range of duties including maintenance and fault finding within FM contracts, as well as LED lighting upgrade contracts.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Undertake maintenance tasks, call out response & repair of all types of commercial and domestic renewable systems, such as Heat Pumps, Solar PV and EV Chargers.
  • Carry out diagnostic, fault finding and testing.
  • Maintain PPM records via our SimPro workflow App.
  • Identify areas for additional works within and out with the specified contractual requirements.
  • To understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately on time, exceeding customers’ expectations.
  • Preparation and submission of materials lists and time estimates for return remedial works.
  • Assist with the training of new and existing apprentices.
  • To understand & comply with policies and procedures.
  • To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  • To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • To attend, fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required.
  • To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
  • Providing emergency and out-of-hours on-call cover (as part of a rota)

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience as a maintenance and reactive Electrician
  • SVQ or NVQ Electrical (or similar)
  • Inspection and testing qualification e.g. 2391 (desirable)
  • 18th Edition
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A good general experience in working in occupied premises
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Generally IT literate
  • Clear communicator both oral and written
  • A good understanding of General FM services
  • A customer focused approach.
  • Previous experience with heating systems would be beneficial

Renewable experience with Solar PV, Battery storage, EV chargers and Heat Pumps is desirable but not essential – this training will be provided and would be an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking to progress their career with renewable technologies.
